Adult Fitness Classes
Circuit training is a
combination of high-intensity aerobics and resistance training designed to
be easy to follow and target fat loss, muscle building and heart fitness. An
exercise "circuit" is
one completion
of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one
begins the first exercise again for another circuit. Traditionally, the time
between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to
the next exercise. Classes will be held Monday
mornings and Wednesday mornings and evenings in the small gym at the high school.
You may choose to attend either a morning session (5:45am-6:30am) or the
evening session (7:30pm-8:15pm

*Ski Trip
Information
Students
should bring their own lunch or money for food (unless they have purchased a
voucher). Food and other items should be packed in a plastic bag or tote as
paper bags get wet and crumble. Extra mittens and other dry clothes are a good
idea. Please talk to your child about
their ability level. This is a high-risk activity. Students attending these
activities without a parent need to be able to ski on their own.
Parents
are always welcome to ski with us at the group rate (and you may bring younger
children, however if you are chaperoning, your children will need to be able to
ski on their own.) We will call you if you are chosen to
chaperone. We want to give everyone the opportunity, as chaperones will
ski free.
Adults attending Bridges trips are not
allowed to be in the bar/restaurant areas of the ski lodges or to consume
alcohol. This policy is in accordance with the district AODA guidelines.
Chaperones
will be given areas to supervise. Chaperones must sign the district chaperone
policy.*
